Candle Care Instructions

Thank you for choosing our candles to create a soothing ambiance in your space. To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience, please follow these candle care instructions:

Trim the Wick Before lighting, always trim the wick to approximately 1/4 inch (6mm) to ensure an even burn and prevent excess soot.

First Burn Matters During the first burn, allow the candle to melt across the entire surface. This establishes a "memory" and helps prevent tunneling for future burns.

Burn Time Each time you light the candle, allow it to burn for 2-3 hours, or until the wax has melted to the edge of the container. This prevents tunneling and maximizes the candle's fragrance.

Safety First Place the candle on a heat-resistant surface and away from flammable materials, drafts, and pets. Always burn within sight and keep away from children.

Extinguish Safely Use a snuffer or gently blow to extinguish the flame. Avoid using the candle lid to extinguish the flame, as it can create smoke and soot.

Reposition the Wick After extinguishing, ensure the wick is centered and upright. This ensures an even burn during the next use.

Avoid Over-Burning Never burn a candle for more than 4 hours at a time. Allow the candle to cool and trim the wick before relighting.

Storage and Handling Store candles in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight, which can cause discoloration. Avoid exposing candles to extreme temperatures.

Discontinue Use Stop using the candle when approximately 1/2 inch (12mm) of wax remains at the bottom to prevent the container from overheating.

Reuse or Recycle Once the candle is finished, repurpose the container or recycle it in an environmentally friendly manner.

Nature of Products
Due to the nature of our products, which include candles, bath salts, shower steamers, and other personal care items, we regret that once these items have been used, we cannot accept returns or offer refunds. Your satisfaction is important to us, so if you experience any issues with the products upon delivery, please contact our customer service team at Customerupport@wiltedwillow.net within 7 days of receiving your order.

Refund and Returns
